Strathmore & District Playschool

Strathmore & District Playschool is a non-profit, parent-assisted organization. Parents can provide their input by joining the Parent Board. It has been operating since 1976, including 22 years in the current building, located on Westmount school grounds. We run from Monday to Thursday from September 8th to May 28th.

Registration for the 2026-27 school year will open on February 2nd at 10:00 AM for our current families and on February 23rd at 10:00 AM for the public.

You will have to fill out the online form from this website and pay the $75 Non-Refundable Registration fee to secure your spot.

Our teachers are certified Early Childhood Educators, holding child development certification and/or Bachelor of Education Degrees.

Our teachers are current in their First Aid and CPR training and provide regular criminal record clearances.
